What is Planning Poker?

Planning Poker (also called Scrum Poker) is a consensus-based estimation technique used by agile teams to assign story points to backlog items. Each member picks a card representing their effort estimate, all cards are revealed at once, and the team discusses until a consensus is reached.

Is this Scrum Poker tool free?

Yes. Scrum Poker is 100% free, with no sign-up, no ads, no trackers and no limits on the number of rooms, players or rounds.

Do I need an account to use it?

No account is required. You create a room, share the invite link with your team, and everyone joins with just a display name. Rooms are ephemeral and disappear when the last participant leaves.

Which decks are supported?

Fibonacci (0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89), the classic planning deck (0, ½, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20, 40, 100), T-shirt sizes (XS to XXL), sequential 0 to 24, an Emoji deck, and a fully custom deck where you define your own values.

How does blind voting work?

Votes are hidden until the admin reveals them, so no one is biased by what the rest pick. When auto-reveal on consensus is enabled, cards flip only when every participant chose the same value — preventing anchoring.

Are my votes stored on a server?

No. Votes, reactions and room metadata are broadcast in real time over Supabase Realtime only to the participants of your room. Nothing is persisted on our servers beyond the live channel, and no analytics or tracking cookies are used.

Can I export the results of a session?

Yes. The Session Summary panel includes an Export CSV button with every round's title, result, average, median, consensus flag and individual votes per participant.
